WHO IS ROXY5000?

ROXY5000 is a music project that was created in late 2009 by the man they call “ROXY PRINCE.” Roxy Prince is the Singer/Producer/Song-writer/Plugger behind the band ROXY5000 who have recently blasted onto the music scene hitting radio in over 95 countries of the world Fm/Net including 42 states of the USA and 77 locations across England Scotland and Wales and being hailed with critical acclaim.
In October 2009 ROXY5000 released the "Fan Page Taster Ep" to let the world know that ROXY5000 had been born and this, is where it all started.
Since ROXY5000 was born the project has been released in The UK, France and most recently the USA.
In June 2010 ROXY5000 released their first official single featuring the legendary Omar and Shawn Lee entitled "When Love Takes Over" and broke new grounds by achieving huge global airplay on FM/NET radio via the social network Facebook racking up thousands and thousands of radio plays to date. Since then ROXY5000 released their second single "Never Going Back"Featuring the
Wonderful Terri Walker from The "blu-roc Camp/Damon Dash" In New York and once again Broke new grounds on Radio through out the world, this time racking up "Single of the week and "The One to watch" on the national Radio station "Jazz Fm" in England plus many more wonderful press points.
Since that point ROXY5000 released their 3rd single and In light of the recent troubles
that have dominated The UK decided to Join Forces with Jerry Meehan and Ollie
Thompson from “Bryan Ferry’s band” to create a platform to raise money for Youth
Music by releasing ROXY5000’s “Love Like A Lady” and donating all digital download profits from the campaign to the charity. "~Love like a lady" was also Single of the week and "The One to watch on "Jazz Fm"

ROXY5000 decided to let another label come on board to release the 4th single, Blacktree Music from Atlanta GA fronted by the multi platinum producer Ric Atari.

After Watching ROXY5000 for the last couple of years Ric Atari decided it was time to jump on the project and give the USA a taste of ROXY5000. The single is out now and is also featured on Blacktree music’s “Soul Seeds Volume one” and Oh by the way. "I'm no better" knocked Jay-z off the number 1 spot for four weeks on Danceteria in the Netherlands!!!!! Plus gave ROXY5000 the Hattrick! accolade for being crowned "Single of the week" and the "One To watch" for the third time on the national radio station, "Jazz Fm" London!

ROXY5000’s debut album is a concept album focused around the life of today written in a way that people in the world can relate that will cover genres from Funk/Pop/Soul/Jazz/Blues and Reggae.
The album gives reference to many social points often outlining the need to keep a positive focus in life. Life can be tough at times and ROXY5000 believe music can be a great healer if done in a positive way so always try to incorporate real life into the stories they are telling.
Even though sometimes done in a pure and very honest way, ROXY5000 still manage to give us their philosophy with an edgy and current vibe.
